This piece is a memory of my time with my horses ‘herd. A summer evening at nightfall, I had decided to visit the herd of 15 horses in the forest of a majestic plateau in Vercors (French Prealps).
They heard me from far away.
They were in alert, ready to fly.
This image came to me later on when I was drawing from memory in the majestic national park Nuuksio in Finland.
