A CORNER OF PARADISE FOR UNICORNS – sold

This little oil painting was done in one of the pastures where my favorite unicorns, Isao and Indigene, have spent their fall. This charming wood, adorned with its sometimes green, sometimes golden colors, appeared to me as an ideal subject to distract me from the monothematic series consiting of painting the view from my breakfast table. Here again, the colors help me structure the space and symbolize the transition, between summer and winter, between Finland and France, between the dream of a life written on a corner of a notebook 18 years ago and its realization.

This landscape was painted in the natural park of the Monts d’Ardèche in France (located in the Northern part of Provence and Western part of the Alps) .
